Steve I was sooo close to saying hi to you because I have the same hoodie! but I chickened out. If I'd known it was you I definitely would've said hi though. It was kind of hilarious when he called out that girl who was shouting. Like you said, when she explained how she couldn't hear how loud she was because she was right next to the speaker and Dave goes "I remember my first show" haha.
I didn't think about a curfew. That would make sense, especially since it was past 11pm at that point so the curfew possibility wouldn't surprise me.
So I let the video upload to youtube all last night, then I go to play it and it's totally messed up. So I'm trying again. Anyone have any ideas of other places to upload an iphone video to the internet? Anyway, there's a good chance it won't get put up today because I'm leaving in a few hours to see Dave in Cambridge. But it'll get figured out eventually. Thanks for offering to turn it into an mp3 Steve! It shouldn't need much cleaning up at least, iphones record great audio apparently so it's pretty clear.

You should have! I think you said you're going to the show in Brooklyn in April too...so, if you are, we'll definitely meet up for that one.

Enjoy the show tonight! If he plays Prague, make sure you do some German-style "woah-oh"s for me
I'm realizing now that this thread is specifically for setlists and stuff so I'll mention that stuff here and put the rest of my review of tonight in the Devour US thread. But the show was fucking epic, I'll say that much.
I got a couple short videos for you guys and some photos. I'm still dealing with youtube bullshit with my last video so I don't know when they'll be up, but they're shorter so hopefully it won't be an issue.
Here's the setlist. He also played "Father's Son", "Prague", and "Bricks"
This is in no way zoomed in. If anything, I moved my camera closer to the floor so I could get the shot. He was in my face the entire night and it was awesome!
This was amusing because Tim had a little trouble reaching Northcote's mic.
Videos to come shortly!

Ok, I have all but one video uploaded. The one being from Newburgh (I'll figure that shit out eventually) Also "C'mon Kid part 2" is processing or something but it'll be done shortly I'm sure. . Disclaimer: I know they're incredibly shaky (except for The Great Depression), I apologize. Like I said earlier, I will not sacrifice my experience for the sake of a video, and when Dave is all over the place/in the crowd/leaning directly over my head, etc. it's hard to get a steady recording anyway. So I hope you guys enjoy these clips purely for the audio, and to get an idea of what I was describing in terms of my experience being up front. Enjoy? haha.

Wups, forgot about Damascus (uploading now):

The Cambridge show sounds amazing! I just convinced a friend to go to Philly...so now I'll be going to both the Knitting Factory and World Cafe shows. Just out of curiosity...did he play the little pieces of "Jane" & "Trusty Chords" during "Father's Son" like he did in Europe?

Heck yeah he did! and sweet! Hopefully I'll see you at both! I'm hoping the Philly show doesn't sell out till the last minute because I'm gonna hold off on buying a ticket until I know I can go.
There are some more videos up on YouTube from Cambridge, MA 25/01/2014:
Bricks (first time? without Mitchell):
What he's mentioning at the beginning of the recording (most of it was cut off) was how I guess Mitchell's the one who wrote and played the guitar part for this song and Dave isn't all that familiar with it but he was gonna attempt it anyway. And I'm glad he did!
As far as first time or not. It's not if you include the album release shows. As far as just this leg, he didn't play it in Newburgh, but I have no idea about Asbury.
From the European leg of the tour but just posted on YouTube today: Antwerp on Dec. 4th.
I didn't realize that he played a full version of "Jane" at all on the tour...just thought it was the little tag during "Father's Son". The lack of any further setlists and/or videos from the North American tour has made me realize that we need more US/Canadian members on this Forum!

He plays Jane a decent number of times in my experience of seeing him play solo. I hope he keeps it up! I like all of The Loved Ones music but there's only a few tracks that I love and that's one of 'em.
Dude, seriously. And the lack of talk going on on here! there was so much chatter when he was in Europe! Maybe we should start handing out fliers at shows (I'm kidding, but maybe some word of mouth stuff would be good)
