So Susan and Antje are in the US for some of the Loved Ones shows. They don't really have access to the forum so I will share some of their photos on here. For up to date info, follow @rankersforum on twitter.
Personal reviews follow when they are back home again
Sorry, I didn´t keep it up to date here. Too busy with travelling and enjoying the shows.
What a tour, what a band! I really hope The Loved Ones are back not just for now!!!
Three weeks, ten shows, same setlist (except a minimal change in Chicago night II) and it didn´t get boring. Every show was special and unique, so much fun on stage and in front. It´s a pure joy to see a band play together like this. Music and friendship. Peace and love.
This is the Philly setlist:
There were a few cameras at this show, two on stage and another one or two in the audience. Let´s hope for an official video!
The Loved Ones‘ last EP Distractions was released 10 years ago today. To celebrate this anniversary the german hardcore-punk e-zine AWAY FROM LIFE published an interesting article about the EP, The Loved Ones and their members.
FINALLY! The concert film will be premiered on Feb 20, 2021 on Veeps.
Here´s what Dave wrote on social media: "2/20/21 we’ll stream ‘Lose Your Head’, a concert film made by Jesse DeFlorio This month marks 15 years since The Loved Ones put out ‘Keep Your Heart’, and 5 years ago we played Philadelphia to celebrate. Come join us!"
"Lose Your Head, a film by Jesse DeFlorio, captures The Loved Ones, as they concluded their Keep Your Heart 10th Anniversary tour, at Union Transfer in Philadelphia. In addition to a full concert, the film features unseen interview footage with the band members."
