Sometimes I wish the same thing since usually you guys get the cool stuff! *cough* lots of tour dates *cough*
But I'm psyched for this release show! Apparently the place only holds 50 people though so I'm betting the tickets will go fast. Any other americans or visiting europeans planning on going?

Someone just posted this @ facebook: "We're sorry, all available tickets are currently in other shopping carts. Please keep trying, they may soon become available." Maybe ther's still a small chance for tickets?

I'm hearing now that the first show sold out in 2 seconds. The 2nd is already essentially sold out, unless someone suddenly decides they don't want their ticket.
My friend missed getting one for the second show too. Idk why they don't set it up so that if the first sells out, it automatically kicks you over to the page for the second so you don't have to go looking for the link.

they set the second show up about ten minutes after the first sold out. there wasnt supposed to be another show. even tho it was expected. it wouldve made more sense, in my opinion, to move it to the basement or johnny brendas if available.

10 $ would have been a good price for such an amazing event ...

Just got back from the first show! It was a long 4 hour drive but definitely worth it. The show was pretty short, he just played Devour start to finish. But considering we didn't have to sit through 20 minutes of a bad opener it was worth it. I'd say close to 50% of the crowd was Dave's family/friends which felt a little like you snuck into someone else's house during their family reunion. He had a really old amp that kept failing him to the point where it got comical. He told us a story about it. He said he asked his dad to bring it someplace to get it fixed and that he'd pay him back for it. His dad did so, reluctantly, because he didn't think he'd actually see that money again, and so (since his dad was in the crowd) Dave said to him (paraphrasing) "You're right I'm not going to pay you for it because it isn't fixed, and you should ask for your money back". Luckily he had a backup amp though.
He played the Great Depression on a keyboard which was awesome and I regret not filming it (sorry). And while I love all the songs on the album, I gotta say that Bricks went from one of my least favorites (if such a thing exists on this album) to a song that blew me away. It was soooo good live.
All in all a very good night. If I have any decent pics I'll post them shortly!

Thanks for sharing your pics and video, Shelby!
What I heard from the shows so far they were these one of a kind shows you wish you'd been there if you haven't and you remember forever if you'd been!
